INSPECTRA (Industrial Spectrum) is an annual event organized by the Industrial Engineering Student Association of Universitas Gadjah Mada. INSPECTRA originated from an event called Ethnographic Design Workshop (EDW) held in 2007 and continued for five years. In 2012, the Ethnographic Design Workshop underwent a thematic change, resulting in a name change to Scheme Work. Another thematic change occurred in 2014, where Scheme Work was officially transformed into Industrial Workshop. This year, Industrial Workshop has rebranded itself as INSPECTRA.
This year, INSPECTRA has chosen the overarching theme of “Sustainable Food System”. The event serves as a platform for the community and other industry observers to understand how various sectors of industry can contribute to the development of the sustainable food system.
A white paper is a short document that summarizes the result of research and technology on an issue that can be applied to answer problems. The white paper briefly describes the issues to be resolved, data analysis, and recommendations for the solution given in a sharp, coherent, systematic, and comprehensive manner.
A training session combines a talk show on industries’ role in addressing issues with a group workshop solving a related case study. Participants collaborate to analyze the case, present their solutions, and engage in Q&A with judges. This interactive format fosters active learning and practical problem-solving skills.
